Welcome to the Translingual Writing website!

This site has been established in accordance with the January 2011 College English opinion piece "Language Difference in Writing: Toward a Translingual Approach" by Bruce Horner, Min-Zhan Lu, Jacqueline Jones Royster and John Trimbur. As a supplement to this statement, the site offers a translingual writing bibliography and a list of scholar-teacher supporters.  This selected bibliography represents a small portion of the scholarship we've found helpful in our thinking about translingual work; we invite vistors to suggest additions to this collection of texts.

If you are a College English subscriber, you can access the translingual statement here: Horner, Bruce, Min-Zhan Lu, Jacqueline Jones Royster and John Trimbur: "Language Difference in Writing: Toward a Translingual Approach." College English 73.3 (2011): 303-321.

To recommended a text or add your name to the list of scholar-teacher supporters of the statement, please contact Bruce Horner at b.horner@louisville.edu.
